Daily Responsibilities of a Security Alarm Installer

Installation and Integration

Your primary task will be to install and integrate comprehensive security alarm systems across large commercial and multi-unit residential properties. This involves mounting and configuring devices like motion sensors, glass break detectors, and door/window contacts. You’ll ensure that these systems are seamlessly integrated with building access controls to provide comprehensive security coverage.

System Configuration and Testing

Programming the security systems is a critical part of your role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all zones and devices are correctly configured and operational. This includes conducting thorough testing to confirm the functionality of the entire system, ensuring every component is working as designed.

Client Interaction and System Maintenance

A vital aspect of your job is the client walk-throughs where you will explain the operational features and settings of the security systems.
