Your Daily Tasks as a Security Alarm Installer

Installing and Programming Security Systems

Your primary responsibility will be to install, program, and test a variety of security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. These installations will take place in commercial new construction settings, requiring precision and adherence to design specifications.

Running and Terminating Low-Voltage Wiring

You will run and terminate low-voltage wiring for alarm components, ensuring secure and reliable connections. This task requires meticulous attention to detail to maintain system integrity and performance.

On-Site Troubleshooting and Adjustments

Troubleshooting is a critical part of your role. You will conduct on-site diagnostics and make necessary adjustments to optimize system performance. Your problem-solving skills will be invaluable in ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently.

Training and Support for End-Users

What You Need to Be a Security Alarm Installer

Experience and Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2+ years of experience as a Security Alarm Installer.
