What You’ll Do as a Security Alarm Installer

Your role will be hands-on, involving the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge security systems. Your Daily Tasks as a Security Alarm Installer

Install and Integrate Security Systems

Your primary responsibility will be the installation and integration of security alarm systems. This includes mounting and configuring motion sensors, glass break detectors, and door/window contacts. Precision and attention to detail are key, as you’ll ensure these components are strategically placed for optimal coverage.

Program and Test Security Systems

You’ll program security systems to seamlessly integrate with building access control systems. Testing these systems for functionality is crucial, and you’ll verify that all zones and devices operate correctly. This ensures that the systems provide reliable security coverage.

Conduct Client Walk-Throughs

Once installation is complete, you’ll conduct system walk-throughs with clients. This involves explaining operational features and settings, ensuring clients are comfortable and confident in using their new security systems.

Perform Repairs and Maintenance

What You Need to Be a Security Alarm Installer

Hands-On Experience

We require 1-3 years of experience in the field as a Security Alarm Installer. This experience should include hands-on work with low-voltage wiring, including terminations and splicing.
