What Your Week Actually Looks Like
At Prime Partners, you’ll lead the charge in installing and commissioning cutting-edge security systems like access control, intrusion detection, CCTV/IP surveillance, and intercom systems on commercial new construction projects. Your role will involve managing crews, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring projects adhere to scope and schedule. You’ll program security equipment, NVRs, card readers, and integrate door hardware, as well as conduct final walk-throughs and handle turnover documentation for our clients. You’ll collaborate with IT departments and general contractors to ensure seamless network integration and structured cabling. Compliance with electrical codes, site safety, and client specifications will be under your oversight. Additionally, you’ll provide end-user training and ongoing technical support post-install.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To thrive at Prime Partners, you’ll need advanced knowledge of commercial security systems like Lenel, Avigilon, Genetec, Bosch, and Honeywell. Your ability to terminate and test all types of low-voltage security wiring will be crucial. A strong grasp of door hardware, relays, PoE configurations, and system networking is essential. Leadership experience is a must, as you’ll manage crews and interact with customers, inspectors, and engineers. While OSHA 30 is preferred, practical skills and hands-on experience are valued over paper qualifications. Your ability to produce redlines, as-builts, and commissioning reports will set you apart.
