As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician with Prime Partners, your week will be anything but monotonous. You’ll spearhead fire alarm installations from the ground up on significant commercial projects, ensuring systems are ready for final inspection. Your role involves programming fire alarm control panels, testing notification devices, and ensuring networked systems are operational. You’ll lead point-to-point testing, conduct NFPA 72 compliance inspections, and manage final acceptance testing with AHJs. Your expertise will guide junior technicians, as you delegate tasks and ensure quality control. Our projects range from office complexes to industrial facilities, demanding collaboration with general contractors and fire marshals to maintain code compliance and project timelines. Our team thrives on communication and precision, and you’ll play a pivotal role in preparing as-builts and maintaining comprehensive installation records.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

At Prime Partners, we value your hands-on experience with commercial fire alarm systems such as EST, Notifier, Silent Knight, and Fire-Lite. While a NICET Level II or higher is preferred, your practical skills are paramount. A deep understanding of NFPA 70 and 72 standards is essential, alongside the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and construction drawings. Your leadership skills will shine as you coordinate teams and communicate effectively with inspectors and clients. With over five years of experience, you’ll bring not just expertise, but a team-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving abilities that are vital in this role.
