We’re urgently seeking a dedicated Lead Fire Alarm Technician at Prime Partners in Georgetown, TX for long-term projects. You’ll spearhead the installation and maintenance of advanced fire alarm systems across major commercial sites. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring safety standards and project success through expert oversight and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications for Lead Fire Alarm Technician

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Fire Alarm Technician.
• Proven expertise with commercial fire alarm systems such as EST, Notifier, Silent Knight, and Fire-Lite.
• NICET Level II or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 and 72 standards.
• Proficient in interpreting complex electrical schematics and construction drawings.
• Demonstrated leadership with excellent team coordination, communication, and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities for Lead Fire Alarm Technician

• Lead fire alarm installations from pre-wire stages to final inspections on large commercial projects.
• Program and oversee fire alarm control panels, initiate and notification devices, and networked systems.
• Conduct point-to-point testing and ensure NFPA 72 compliance and final acceptance testing with AHJs.
• Mentor junior technicians, manage task delegation, and uphold quality control standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and fire marshals to ensure compliance and project timelines.
• Prepare as-builts and maintain detailed records for project turnover packages.
• Address advanced troubleshooting and system upgrades.
