What Your Week Actually Looks Like

Lead the Charge in Structured Cabling

At Prime Partners, your week involves overseeing structured cabling projects from pre-construction layout to final certification on large commercial job sites. You’ll lead crews in pulling, routing, and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber optic cabling in MDFs/IDFs. This isn’t just any job; it’s an opportunity to tackle diverse projects, from high-rise offices to tech-driven facilities. You’ll be at the forefront, coordinating with IT, electrical, and GC teams to ensure our low-voltage work aligns seamlessly with construction timelines.

Hands-On Leadership and Coordination

Your role includes terminating and labeling patch panels, jacks, and fiber enclosures, and testing and certifying all cabling using Fluke or equivalent test equipment. You’ll install cable management infrastructure, including ladder racks, cable trays, J-hooks, and conduit systems per blueprint specifications. What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience and Expertise

To thrive at Prime Partners, proven experience in structured cabling leadership roles on commercial projects is crucial. You should be proficient with BICSI installation methods, TIA/EIA standards, and Fluke DTX/DSX certification tools. Your ability to read and mark up blueprints is essential, as are strong communication and team leadership skills. Fiber fusion splicing and OTDR experience are a plus, and while paper qualifications matter, practical skills and a can-do attitude are what truly set you apart.
