What Your Week Actually Looks Like

As a Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners, your week is all about hands-on work and collaboration. You’ll be installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on a variety of commercial construction sites. This means running EMT, RMC, and PVC conduit, pulling, terminating, and testing electrical wiring, and installing lighting, panels, switchgear, and control systems. You’ll interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure installations meet code. Our projects range from small retail spaces to large industrial facilities, offering you a diverse work experience. You’ll work alongside project managers and other trades, ensuring we stay on schedule. You’ll also mentor apprentices, enforce job site safety, and guarantee all work complies with NEC standards and client specifications. What You’ll Need to Succeed

To thrive at Prime Partners, you’ll need a valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience with at least four years in the field. Your skills in conduit bending, panel terminations, and blueprint reading are crucial, as is your knowledge of NEC codes and commercial electrical systems. We value strong troubleshooting skills and your ability to supervise apprentices. Whether you’re working solo or as part of a crew, being adaptable and having a positive attitude is key in our fast-paced environment.
