Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• Valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience
• Proficient in conduit bending, panel terminations, and blueprint reading
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and commercial electrical systems
• Proven troubleshooting skills and experience supervising apprentices

Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial construction sites
• Run EMT, RMC, and PVC conduit; pull, terminate, and test electrical wiring
• Install lighting, panels, switchgear, and control systems
• Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure code-compliant installations
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to maintain construction timelines
• Train apprentices, enforce job site safety, and ensure compliance with NEC standards and client specifications
