What You’ll Do as a Fire Alarm Technician
As a Fire Alarm Technician at Prime Partners, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring fire safety for our multi-year project in Valley Station, KY. Your role is pivotal in safeguarding lives and properties by installing and maintaining fire alarm systems in commercial new construction projects. While Valley Station is our primary location, you may also find opportunities in nearby cities such as Pleasure Ridge Park, Shively, and Okolona. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that our projects meet the highest safety standards.
Your Daily Tasks as a Fire Alarm Technician
System Installation and Programming
On a typical day, you’ll be tasked with installing and programming fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, and strobes. Your work will directly impact the safety and compliance of our projects, ensuring that all installations meet local and national fire safety standards.
Testing and Verification
Performing system testing and verification is a crucial part of your role. You’ll need to ensure that all components function correctly and adhere to safety protocols, identifying and resolving any discrepancies swiftly.
Collaboration with Contractors
You’ll work closely with general contractors and other trades to coordinate the timely installation of systems. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you’ll need to integrate smoothly with other ongoing construction activities.
Record Maintenance and Safety Protocols

What You Need to Be a Fire Alarm Technician
