Your Daily Tasks as a Fire Alarm Technician

As part of your daily routine, you will:

• Install and Program Systems: You’ll be responsible for installing and programming fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, strobes, and other system components in commercial new construction projects. Precision is key as you ensure each component works flawlessly.

• System Testing and Verification: Performing rigorous system testing, verification, and troubleshooting will be a significant part of your job. Your task is to ensure all installations comply with local and national fire safety standards.

• Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with general contractors and other trades is crucial for coordinating timely installations. Your communication and teamwork skills will ensure the project’s success.
