Core Fire Alarm Installer Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include installing fire alarm control panels and devices, pulling and terminating fire alarm cables, and mounting notification appliances and initiation devices. You’ll assist with system programming and testing, maintain detailed point-to-point wiring documentation, and coordinate with other trades for precise device placement. The role involves performing pre-wire and trim-out phases, installing conduit and cable pathways, and troubleshooting system wiring issues. Maintaining proper color coding and labeling is crucial, as is assisting with final testing and inspections.

Advanced technical duties include integrating fire alarms with building management systems, performing complex voltage drop calculations, and utilizing advanced diagnostic tools for troubleshooting. Qualifications
