What You’ll Need to Succeed

Practical Experience and Skills

While we value practical experience over paper qualifications, having 1-3 years of hands-on experience with commercial fire alarm systems is essential. You’ll need proficiency in blueprint reading and a solid understanding of NFPA 72 requirements to succeed here.

Technical and Personal Attributes

You’ll be using multimeters and testing equipment frequently, so technical proficiency is a must. But beyond skills, traits like attention to detail, especially for documentation, and good communication skills for effective coordination, are what truly set you apart in this role.
