What You’ll Do as an Electrician Helper

As an Electrician Helper at Prime Partners, you’ll be joining a dynamic team working on a multi-year commercial project in San Tan Valley, AZ, with additional opportunities in nearby areas such as Queen Creek, Apache Junction, and Florence. Your primary role will be to support our licensed electricians in daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe installation and maintenance of electrical systems. This is a hands-on, practical position where you’ll gain invaluable experience and contribute to the success of our projects.

Your Daily Tasks as an Electrician Helper

As an Electrician Helper, your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings. You’ll be tasked with pulling wire through conduits and raceways, mounting electrical boxes, and assisting with panel wiring. Additionally, you’ll perform basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues, ensuring all wiring complies with NEC codes. Organizing tools and materials for efficient job site operations will be part of your routine, as will following all safety protocols diligently.

You’ll also be expected to support licensed electricians in various tasks, including:

• Assisting with the installation of lighting fixtures and switches
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly
• Keeping the work area clean and organized to facilitate smooth operations

What You Need to Be an Electrician Helper

To excel as an Electrician Helper, you’ll need a basic knowledge of electrical tools and wiring practices. A willingness to learn and adapt in a physically demanding construction environment is essential. Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will be crucial. We are looking for individuals with 0-2 years of experience in the field, who possess the following must-have skills:
