What You’ll Do as an Electrician Helper

As an Electrician Helper at Prime Partners, you’ll be an integral part of our electrical team, working on diverse and dynamic projects in Minneapolis. Our current engagements include residential and light commercial construction, with additional opportunities in neighboring cities such as St. Paul, Bloomington, and Brooklyn Park. Your role is essential in ensuring our electrical systems are installed and maintained efficiently. Your Daily Tasks as an Electrician Helper

Assist Electricians with Installations

Your primary responsibility is to support our electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems. This involves carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas and ensuring that the job sites remain organized and safe.

Wire and Cable Management

You’ll help pull wires and cables through conduits and walls under the supervision of experienced electricians. This task is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems.

Support Installation of Electrical Components

You’ll assist in installing lighting fixtures, outlets, and switchgear. This includes performing basic tasks such as drilling holes, mounting boxes, and labeling wires to ensure a smooth installation process.

Site Preparation and Cleanup

Prepare tools and materials needed for each task by following instructions from your supervisor. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, which is crucial for operational efficiency and safety.

Additional Daily Activities

• Measure and cut wires to specified lengths.
• Use basic hand tools for securing connections.
• Assist in testing electrical systems to ensure functionality.

What You Need to Be an Electrician Helper
