What You’ll Do as an Electrical Trainee

As an Electrical Trainee at Prime Partners, you’ll be joining a dynamic team working on a multi-year project in San Bruno, CA. Our projects extend to neighboring cities such as South San Francisco, Millbrae, and Daly City. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our licensed electricians and gaining practical experience in commercial electrical work. Your Daily Tasks as an Electrical Trainee

Your day will begin with setting up workstations and organizing tools and materials to ensure the job site is ready for installation. You’ll assist electricians by pulling wire, running conduit, and assembling electrical panels. Your ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions will be honed as you complete basic electrical tasks under the supervision of seasoned professionals.

Safety is a top priority, so you’ll participate in daily safety meetings and apply best practices to maintain a secure work environment. Additionally, you’ll:

• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and finding solutions under guidance.
• Learn and apply techniques for installing lighting fixtures and power outlets.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.

What You Need to Be an Electrical Trainee

To qualify for this position, you must have a valid Electrical Trainee Card from the CA Department of Industrial Relations. We value eagerness to learn, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to follow instructions meticulously. As the role involves physical tasks, you should be willing and able to perform in a construction environment while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Experience Requirements:

• 0-1 years in the field as an Electrical Trainee.
