Electrical Estimator Position Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As an Electrical Estimator with Prime Partners, your typical day will involve preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical systems in commercial new construction projects, ranging from office complexes to retail centers. You will analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine labor, material, and equipment costs. Core Electrical Estimator Responsibilities

• Advanced Technical Duties: Utilize advanced software tools such as Accubid and Bluebeam to create precise estimates. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and devise mitigation strategies. Develop detailed bid proposals and presentations for clients. Implement innovative cost-saving techniques in project planning.

• Regional Project Specifics: Tailor estimates to meet the specific needs of projects in Perris and neighboring cities, considering regional pricing variations and local regulatory requirements.

• Safety Protocols: Adhere to strict safety guidelines, ensuring all estimates comply with OSHA regulations and industry best practices. Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction projects is essential.

• Certifications: Possession of certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Electrical Estimator Certification (EEC) is highly desirable.
