As a Cable Technician, you’ll be a critical part of our construction projects, ensuring that all cabling is installed efficiently and meets industry standards.
Qualifications for Cable Technician
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cable Technician
- Expertise in structured cabling installations and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in cable testing, termination, and certification procedures
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work safely on active construction sites
Responsibilities for Cable Technician
- Install, test, and troubleshoot CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables in commercial settings
- Perform cable terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices
- Conduct cable testing and certification using industry-standard tools
- Install cable pathways such as conduits, raceways, and J-hooks, following safety codes
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and quality standards
