This role is critical for our long-term commercial construction projects, involving the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. Qualifications for Cable Technician
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Cable Technician
- Proficient in structured cabling installations and troubleshooting
- Skilled in cable testing, termination, and certification procedures
- Ability to interpret blueprints and operate in active construction sites
Responsibilities for Cable Technician
- Install, test, and troubleshoot CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic systems
- Perform terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices
- Conduct cable testing and certification using industry-standard tools
- Install cable pathways such as conduits, raceways, and J-hooks
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and maintain quality
