Prime Partners is urgently seeking a skilled Cable Technician in Sevierville, TN, for long-term projects. As a Cable Technician, you will be integral to our construction team, responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining structured cabling systems. You will play a critical role in the efficient setup of CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables, ensuring high-quality network performance on active commercial construction sites.
Qualifications for Cable Technician
- 2+ years of experience as a Cable Technician in commercial settings
- Proficiency in cable testing, termination, and certification procedures
- Ability to interpret blueprints and adapt to dynamic construction environments
Responsibilities for Cable Technician
- Install and test structured cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optics
- Conduct cable terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices
- Perform cable testing and certification using industry-standard tools
- Install cable pathways such as conduits, raceways, and J-hooks
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and quality standards
