Cable Puller Position Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Cable Puller with Prime Partners, you will be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for the installation and routing of low-voltage cables, including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optics. Your daily tasks will involve pulling, routing, and securing cables to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity for our clients. You will also assist in labeling and organizing cables to maintain system integrity.

Core Cable Puller Responsibilities

• Advanced Technical Duties: Beyond basic cabling, you’ll be expected to splice fiber optics, conduct cable testing for signal integrity, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. You’ll also be involved in the integration of advanced cabling systems, ensuring seamless operation.
• Regional Project Specifics: You’ll work on high-profile projects across Raleigh and its neighboring cities, contributing to the region’s growth and infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Experience: While 0-1 years of experience is the minimum requirement, prior experience in low-voltage cabling is highly advantageous.
• Certifications: Basic certifications such as BICSI Installer 1 or 2 are preferred. Additional training in fiber optics or network cabling is a plus.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of low-voltage systems, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with industry standards are essential.
