What You’ll Do as an Apprentice Electrician

As an Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners, you’ll play a crucial role in our ongoing projects in Memphis, TN, and nearby areas such as Germantown, Bartlett, and Collierville. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve hands-on work under the supervision of experienced journeymen electricians. You’ll assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in large-scale retail and warehouse facilities. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field while contributing to significant projects.

Your Daily Tasks as an Apprentice Electrician

Assist with Electrical Installations

Your primary task will be to help install electrical systems. This includes running and securing both EMT and PVC conduit while working closely with journeymen. You’ll pull, terminate, and label wiring for lighting and power circuits, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards.

Support Control System Installations

You’ll also assist in installing and testing control systems, such as HVAC, security, and automated doors. Under guidance, you’ll learn how to set up these critical systems and ensure their proper functioning.

Prepare and Organize Work Areas

Preparing work areas is essential for efficient operations. You’ll organize tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring everything is in place for smooth workflow. This will involve maintaining a clean and safe job site.

Follow Blueprints and Troubleshoot

You’ll be responsible for following blueprints and detailed instructions to aid in lighting installations and equipment wiring. Other Daily Activities

What You Need to Be an Apprentice Electrician

• Experience and Fieldwork: 1-4 years as an Apprentice Electrician.
