Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Mountain View, CA (Also serving surrounding areas such as Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, and Cupertino)

Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, and will be able to perform a variety of tasks, including installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical components.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
2. Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
3. Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes.
4. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
5. Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
6. Work with blueprints or technical diagrams to determine locations of equipment and wiring.
7. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.
8. Perform all work in a manner that ensures the safety of the electrical worker.
9. Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates to provide information by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

Qualifications:

1. Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license.
2. Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
4. Proficient in using electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
8. Diploma in a relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
9. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
10. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
3. Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
4. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
5. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
