Position: Commercial Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Sacramento, CA

Job Overview:

Prime Partners, a leading construction firm in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Electrician. This role primarily involves the installation of electrical systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties in Sacramento and surrounding cities. The successful candidate will receive a $300 sign-on bonus after their first paycheck.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial properties according to state and local building codes.
• Perform electrical work according to blueprint specifications.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs as necessary.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Provide guidance to apprentice electricians and oversee their work for quality assurance.
• Perform other electrical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience as a journeyman electrician.
• Valid journeyman electrician license.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Service Area:

• Must be willing to travel within Sacramento and surrounding cities as per project requirements.

Equipment Knowledge:

• Must have knowledge and experience working with various electrical tools and equipment, such as voltage testers, wire strippers, conduit benders, and power tools.

Safety Requirements:

• Must adhere to all company safety protocols and standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Knowledge of safety procedures when working with electricity is essential.
