Overview of Healthcare Security Technician Role

As a Healthcare Security Technician at Nipper Electric, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our commercial clients’ facilities. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems, with a particular focus on healthcare environments. Your expertise in security technology and commitment to safety will help protect sensitive environments and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements for Healthcare Security Technician

Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects

• Install and service security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance on security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to design and implement customized security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure all installations comply with applicable codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of security systems.

Required Certifications and Experience

• Certifications: Crestron, Lenel
• Experience with Lenel, C-Cure, Crestron
• Typical projects: Office Buildings, Retail Centers, Hospitals, Schools
• 3-5 years of electrical experience
• Valid electrical license for GA
• Experience with Lenel and C-Cure

Physical Requirements and Safety Knowledge

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Crestron
• Commercial project experience

• Primary location: Peachtree Corners, GA
• Neighboring cities: Norcross, Berkeley Lake, Duluth, Johns Creek, and Sandy Springs
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25.06-$30.22 per hour depending on experience
