Role Overview

As a Commercial Security Technician at Nipper Electric, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems for our commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure that our clients’ facilities are secure and that their security systems are operating at peak performance. You will work closely with our team to deliver projects on time and within budget, while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements for Commercial Security Technician

Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects

• Install, maintain, and repair security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, in commercial environments.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure seamless integration of security systems into clients’ facilities.
• Perform regular system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with security systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company standards.

Additional Requirements

• 3-5 years of electrical experience.
• Valid electrical license for GA.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong safety knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with C-Cure.
• Prior experience working on commercial projects.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Dunwoody, GA
• Neighboring Cities: Sandy Springs, Roswell, Chamblee, Doraville, Brookhaven, and Peachtree Corners.
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $27.07-$32.52 per hour, depending on experience.
