Position Overview at MMR Group
The Security Systems Tech will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems at healthcare facilities in Placentia, CA, and surrounding areas. This position requires a detail-oriented and technically proficient individual who can ensure the optimal performance of security systems to safeguard sensitive environments.
Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech
- Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
- Collaborate with project teams to design and implement security solutions tailored to healthcare facilities.
- Provide user training and support to facility staff for effective system utilization.
Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at MMR Group
- 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Axis Certification.
- Proficient in using Lenel OnGuard and Genetec Security Center.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: AMAG Certification.
- Advanced experience with Lenel OnGuard systems.
- Experience in healthcare facility security projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software related to security systems.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Placentia, CA.
- Additional locations: Anaheim, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Brea, and Orange, CA.
- Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $30.32-$34.69 per hour.
