The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all cabling systems meet industry standards and client specifications.

Essential Functions for Low Voltage Cable Technician

• Install, terminate, and test various types of low voltage cables, including copper and fiber optic.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of cable systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement efficient cabling solutions for educational institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance tasks.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records for future reference.
• Assist in the planning and execution of project timelines to meet client deadlines.

Required Qualifications for Low Voltage Cable Technician at MMR Group

• 2-4 years of experience in low voltage cabling or a related field.
• Required certification: OSHA 10.
• Proficient in using cable testers and fiber optic tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $27.7-$34.36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
