Position Overview at MMR Group
The AV Systems Tech role at MMR Group involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems within educational institutions. Based in Walnut Creek, CA, the position requires collaboration with local schools and universities, ensuring efficient and effective AV solutions that enhance the learning environment. The role also extends to providing support in neighboring cities as needed.
Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems in educational settings.
- Conduct routine checks and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with school staff to design and implement AV solutions that meet educational needs.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users and school personnel.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at MMR Group
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
- Extron Certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in working with Crestron Control Systems and Extron Electronics.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- CTS Installation certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with AMX Control Systems is preferred.
- Specialized experience in educational AV systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency with AV installation tools and software.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Walnut Creek, CA.
- Additional locations: Concord, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, and Orinda.
- Schedule: Full-time, with occasional evenings or weekends depending on project requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.88-$35.27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
