Mirapath is currently seeking a skilled Data Center Operations Technician to join our team in Centreville, VA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing critical facility operations, ensuring seamless data center functionality. This position requires a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform server installations and decommissions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage cable plant documentation to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Implement hot/cold aisle containment strategies to optimize cooling efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Coordinate maintenance windows to minimize disruptions and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform power circuit installations and maintain battery backup systems to safeguard against power failures.
• Monitor environmental controls to maintain optimal conditions for data center operations.
• Execute change management procedures to ensure smooth transitions and minimal impact on operations.
• Manage equipment lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
• Perform network hardware installations and maintain security protocols to protect data integrity.
• Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with Virginia-specific regulations and requirements.
• Contribute to the successful execution of the upcoming Centreville Technology Hub project, a large-scale initiative aimed at enhancing regional infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• BICSI Data Center Technician certification preferred.
• Proven experience with critical infrastructure management in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in dressing and terminating cables, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Demonstrated ability with DCIM systems and strong documentation skills.
• Experience with change management procedures to support dynamic operational environments.
• Clean background check required for security clearance eligibility.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data center operations within a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulations specific to Centreville, VA.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional teams and stakeholders.
