Position Overview at Mirapath
Mirapath is seeking a skilled Data Center Cable Tech to join our team in Corte Madera, CA. This role involves working on projects primarily focused on educational institutions, ensuring high-quality cabling and infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining data center cabling systems in Corte Madera and surrounding areas.
Essential Functions for Data Center Cable Tech
- Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including fiber optics and copper cables.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting using Fluke Testing Equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to execute educational institution projects.
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Document installations and maintain records for project tracking.
Required Qualifications for Data Center Cable Tech at Mirapath
- 3-6 years of experience in data center cabling.
- Required certification: BICSI Data Center Design.
- Proficiency with Fluke Testing Equipment and Chatsworth Products.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Panduit Certification.
- Experience with Corning Fiber Systems.
- Specialized experience in educational institution projects.
- Proficiency with various hand and power tools related to cabling.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Corte Madera, CA
- Additional locations: San Rafael, Mill Valley, Larkspur, Tiburon, and Novato.
- Schedule: Full-time
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.75-$35.79 per hour
