We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical work and a passion for delivering outstanding service in the commercial sector. As a Retail Electrician at McCall Electric, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our commercial projects.

Essential Functions

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments, including office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Perform conduit bending and installation of wiring systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Utilize advanced test equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Collaborate with project managers and other electricians to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Document and report on work performed and any issues encountered during projects.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for GA.
• Proficiency in using advanced test equipment and performing conduit bending.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with code books and the ability to interpret and apply electrical codes in a commercial context.
• Demonstrated experience working on commercial projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.

• Primary location: Lawrenceville, GA.
• Neighboring cities include Suwanee, Duluth, Snellville, and Lilburn, GA.
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime based on project needs.
