M3 Technology, located in Farmington Hills, MI, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Center Rack Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for the deployment of equipment across our data centers in the Farmington Hills area and neighboring cities such as Novi and Southfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring rack infrastructure in critical environments, ensuring efficient power distribution and cable management. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in documentation and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work during off-hours maintenance windows.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure server rack infrastructure in data centers.
• Perform structured cabling installations with precision.
• Implement effective cable management systems.
• Mount network equipment securely and efficiently.
• Install power distribution units as per specifications.
• Coordinate and execute equipment deployments and rack stack procedures.
• Maintain and update rack documentation consistently.
• Perform hardware inventory management and implement labeling systems.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in data center operations within a commercial setting.
• Proven expertise in rack and stack procedures and structured cabling.
• Proficiency in using and understanding mounting systems and power distribution.
• Experience with inventory systems and network hardware.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to read technical documentation.
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Farmington Hills.
