Key Responsibilities

• Design and install complete electrical systems, ensuring all components are precisely configured to meet project specifications.
• Calculate load requirements and perform detailed planning to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with BIM teams to ensure accurate modeling and integration of electrical systems with other building components.
• Supervise installation crews, providing clear instructions and support to ensure timely project completion.
• Implement advanced lighting control systems, including programming and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Manage project material logistics, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to maintain project timelines.
• Perform system commissioning to verify proper operation and compliance with project requirements.
• Install emergency power systems, ensuring reliability and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical trades to facilitate seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Program building automation interfaces for enhanced building management and energy efficiency.
• Mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training to support their professional development.
• Work on regional projects such as the upcoming Decatur Mixed-Use Development, a significant project requiring skilled electrical installation and coordination.
• Adhere to Georgia-specific regulations for electrical installations and safety, ensuring compliance with state codes.

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical license, with a strong foundation in electrical theory and practical application.
• Experience with BIM coordination, ensuring accurate and efficient project planning and execution.
• Expertise in lighting controls, with the ability to design, install, and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Proven project management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
• Certification for multiple lift types, ensuring safe and efficient operation on-site.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on safety management and team development.
• Knowledge of energy codes and proficiency with building automation systems.
• 0-3 years of experience required for apprentice work in a commercial setting, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
