What You’ll Do as a Commercial Journeyman

As a Commercial Journeyman at Jackson Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in our ongoing and upcoming projects in Cumming, GA, and surrounding areas like Alpharetta, Dawsonville, and Gainesville. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our electrical installations meet the highest standards. This position requires a hands-on approach, where you’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day tasks that keep our projects running smoothly and safely.

Your Daily Tasks as a Commercial Journeyman

Install, Maintain, and Repair Electrical Systems

Your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings. You’ll ensure all work complies with state and local codes, which is essential for the safety and success of our projects.

Conduct Routine Inspections and Troubleshooting

You’ll perform routine inspections and troubleshoot any system failures, ensuring that electrical circuits, panels, and distribution systems function correctly. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial for identifying and rectifying issues before they escalate.

Collaborate with Project Teams

Working closely with project teams, you’ll contribute to large-scale commercial installations and renovations. Your expertise will guide our projects from the initial stages to completion, ensuring that everything aligns with our high standards.

Train and Mentor Apprentices

What You Need to Be a Commercial Journeyman

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be a certified Commercial Journeyman Electrician with over six years of field experience in commercial electrical work. Your expertise in conduit bending, transformer installation, and high-voltage wiring will be indispensable. You should be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and thriving in active construction environments. A strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and OSHA regulations is a must.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
