Security Technician at Integra Electrical

Integra Electrical, a leading provider of advanced security solutions, is seeking a qualified Security Systems Installer for low voltage commercial projects in Youngstown, OH. Situated in the heart of Mahoning County, Youngstown is conveniently close to neighboring cities such as Warren, Boardman, and Austintown. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the security infrastructure for our clients by installing and maintaining state-of-the-art security systems. This position requires local travel between customer sites and adherence to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience with IP camera systems, access control platforms, and intrusion detection devices.
• Proficiency in VMS platforms such as Milestone or Genetec.
• ESA Level 1 certification.
• OSHA-10 certification.
• Low voltage license (where required).
• Strong knowledge of network basics, PoE, and basic programming.
• Ability to commission security systems.
• Clean background check and drug screening mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1-3 years of experience in security work within a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install security cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices.
• Configure basic system programming and maintain security equipment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide prompt solutions.
• Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with industry standards and client specifications.
• Conduct regular system inspections and perform necessary repairs or updates.
