Data Center Technician at Integra Electrical

Integra Electrical is seeking a dedicated Data Center Operations Technician to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. As a critical facility management specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our data center infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Perform server installations and decommissions, ensuring accurate cable plant documentation.
• Implement hot/cold aisle containment strategies to improve cooling efficiency.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and perform power circuit installations.
• Maintain battery backup systems and monitor environmental controls.
• Execute change management procedures and manage the entire equipment lifecycle.
• Perform network hardware installations, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Support the Dakota Data Expansion project, contributing to planning and execution phases.
• Adhere to state-specific regulations and standards for data center operations in South Dakota.
• Collaborate with local utility providers in Sioux Falls to optimize energy efficiency and power distribution.

Required Qualifications

• BICSI Data Center Technician certification preferred.
• Experience with critical infrastructure management and DCIM systems.
• Demonstrated ability in dressing and terminating cables with strong documentation skills.
• Experience in change management procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• Clean background check required.
• 3-5 years of experience in data center operations within a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with South Dakota’s regulatory environment for data centers.
• Experience working in Sioux Falls or familiarity with regional infrastructure is a plus.
