Qualifications
- FOA CFOT certification
- OSHA-10 certification
- Aerial lift certification
- Experience with Fujikura fusion splicers and EXFO test equipment
- Understanding of single-mode and multi-mode fiber installation
- Knowledge of OTDR testing procedures
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work at heights
- 1-5 years of experience in a commercial setting
Key Responsibilities
- Install and terminate fiber optic cables
- Perform OTDR testing
- Maintain fiber documentation
- Splice fiber cables
- Troubleshoot fiber issues
