We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in our projects.

Essential Functions

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and code books to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Use advanced test equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including Confined Space and Arc Flash Safety regulations.
• Work on a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the electrical field, specifically in commercial settings.
• A valid electrical license for the state of Virginia.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and code books.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• In-depth knowledge of safety practices and procedures in electrical work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced test equipment.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects is highly desirable.

Location & Schedule

• Primary work location is in Blacksburg, VA.
• Neighboring cities include Christiansburg, Radford, and Roanoke.
• This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule.
