Overview of the Role

As a Manufacturing Commercial Project Manager at IES Electric, you will play a pivotal role in managing industrial projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of industrial electrical environments.

Essential Functions

• Project Management: Lead and oversee all phases of industrial projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Budgeting and Estimation: Utilize estimating tools to prepare detailed project budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Code Compliance: Conduct comprehensive code analysis to ensure all projects adhere to national and local electrical codes and standards.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with design teams to ensure the development of accurate and effective electrical designs, utilizing design software to optimize project outcomes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all project participants.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
• Licensing: Must hold a valid electrical license for the state of Florida.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using estimating tools and performing code analysis.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks related to electrical installations, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and practices within the electrical industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Experience with design software to facilitate project planning and execution.
• Project Experience: Demonstrated experience managing industrial projects such as manufacturing plants, data centers, and processing facilities.

• Primary Location: Hialeah, FL.
• Surrounding Cities: This location is conveniently situated near Miami, Miami Lakes, Opa-locka, and Miami Springs, providing easy access to urban amenities and a diverse range of industries.
• Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to meet project demands and deadlines.

• Pay Range: Competitive hourly wage of $36.95-$44.34, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
