Position: Cable Installer

Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in terminating fiber and copper.
- Extensive experience with structured cabling.
- Knowledge of TIA/EIA cabling standards.
- Ability to read and interpret network blueprints.
- Strong organizational skills for managing tools and inventory.
Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Install structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics, in both new construction and retrofit environments.
- Terminate and test copper and fiber optic cables using precision tools and testers.
- Mount, secure, and label network racks and patch panels.
- Install cable tray and ladder rack systems, ensuring proper routing and support.
- Dress and bundle cables neatly to meet industry and site-specific standards.
- Read and follow construction blueprints and cabling diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Coordinate with construction teams to integrate cabling systems with other infrastructure components.
