Position Overview at High Point Networks
The Security Systems Tech will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems in office building projects located in Tiburon, CA, and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong understanding of security technologies and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal security system performance.
Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech
- Install and configure security systems, including cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess security needs and implement appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on security system operation and maintenance.
- Document system installations and maintenance activities accurately and timely.
Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at High Point Networks
- 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
- Genetec Certification required.
- Experience with Axis Camera Station and Lenel OnGuard systems.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Axis Certification is a plus.
- Experience with Milestone XProtect is highly desirable.
- Specialized experience in security systems for office buildings.
- Proficient with tools and software used in security system installations.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Tiburon, CA
- Additional locations: San Rafael, Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Larkspur
- Schedule: Full-time
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.22-$34.98 per hour
