Qualifications for Alarm Installer

• Experience: 0-2 years as an Alarm Installer
• Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools like drills and cable strippers, familiarity with low-voltage wiring
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders

Responsibilities for Alarm Installer

• Installation Support: Assist in installing fire alarm systems by pulling low-voltage wiring and securing it within conduits and cable trays.
• Device Mounting: Mount smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification appliances according to layout plans.
• Testing and Maintenance: Perform labeling and basic testing of installed components under supervision.
• Preparation and Safety: Prepare tools and materials for daily tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure installations are completed on schedule.
