Position Overview at HCI Systems

As a Security Systems Tech at HCI Systems, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems in office buildings. Based in Mill Valley, CA, and serving neighboring cities, you will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure the effective deployment and functionality of security solutions.

Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
• Perform regular system checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement security solutions according to specifications and timelines.
• Document all installations, maintenance, and repairs accurately.

Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at HCI Systems

• 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: BICSI Technician.
• Proficiency with Genetec Security Center and Lenel OnGuard.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Axis Certification.
• Experience with AMAG Symmetry.
• Specialized experience in office buildings security systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to security system installation.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Mill Valley, CA.
• Additional locations: San Rafael, Tiburon, Corte Madera, Larkspur, Sausalito.
• Schedule: Full-time.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $31.07-$36.25 per hour.
