Position Overview at HCI Systems
The Cable Technician at HCI Systems will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare facilities projects in Kennesaw, GA, and the surrounding areas. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable systems to ensure seamless communication and networking within healthcare environments.
Essential Functions for Cable Technician
- Install, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems in healthcare facilities.
- Perform daily tasks including cable pulling, termination, and testing of copper and fiber optic cables.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications for Cable Technician at HCI Systems
- 2-5 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: BICSI Technician.
- Proficiency with Fiber Optic Tools and Wire Mapping Tools.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Fiber Optic Certification.
- Advanced experience with Fiber Optic Tools.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
- Proficiency in using a variety of cabling tools and equipment.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Kennesaw, GA.
- Additional locations: Marietta, Acworth, Woodstock, Smyrna, and Powder Springs, GA.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $27.53-$32.53 per hour.
