Position: Solar Panel Installer Location: Gila Bend, AZ Company: Greenskies Solar

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated, skilled Solar Panel Installers of all levels to join our growing team at Greenskies Solar. The primary responsibility of this role is to install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in new constructions and solar farms around Gila Bend, AZ, and its surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics.
2. Measure, cut, assemble, and bolt structural framing and solar modules.
3. Connect PV panels to inverters and other electrical systems.
4. Check electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or isolation of equipment.
5. Perform routine photovoltaic (PV) system maintenance on modules, arrays, batteries, power conditioning equipment, safety systems, structural systems, weather sealing, or balance of systems equipment.
6. Visually inspect and test PV modules and system components for cracks, defects, or malfunctioning.
7. Compile or maintain records of system operation, performance, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid state driver’s license.
3. Proven experience as a solar panel installer.
4. Familiarity with electrical systems, including the use of tools like voltage testers, ammeters, and wrenches.
5. Understanding of NEC codes related to solar PV installations.

Preferred Certifications:

1. NABCEP Photovoltaic Installer certification is a plus.

Safety Requirements:

1. Knowledge and understanding of all safety regulations and protocols associated with solar panel installation.
2. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety regulations.
