Job Description:

Greenskies Solar is looking for individuals with a passion for renewable energy to join our team as Solar Panel Installers. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on solar farms in Boulder City and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

1. Install solar modules, panels, or support structures as per the established procedures and plans.
2. Measure and cut panel support structures to fit specified dimensions.
3. Assess installation sites to determine the most effective configuration for solar equipment.
4. Identify and resolve any deficiencies in solar system installation or materials.
5. Ensure electrical wiring of solar systems is performed to the highest standard.
6. Perform routine photovoltaic (PV) system maintenance on modules, arrays, and support structures.
7. Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8. Prepare or review designs or specifications for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Experience in solar installation, construction, or related work.
3. Knowledge of electrical wiring and basic understanding of electricity.
4. Ability to work at heights, including on rooftops and ladders, and lift heavy objects.
5. Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

1. NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification is highly desirable.
2. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Tool and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
2. Knowledge of safety equipment usage like harnesses and safety helmets.

Safety Requirements:

1. Must strictly adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
2. Must be comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
3. Must always wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
