Job Description:

Greenskies Solar is seeking experienced and entry-level Solar Panel Installers to join our team and assist in the installation of solar panel systems for our major solar farm projects in Blythe and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, concentrators, batteries, pumps, fans, or support structures.
2. Perform site analysis, including assessing location, to ensure proper installation.
3. Determine appropriate sizes, ratings, and locations for all system components.
4. Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
5. Install active solar systems, including solar collectors, concentrators, pumps, or fans.
6. Apply weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms.
7. Check electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or isolation of equipment.

Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in solar installation, construction, or related field is preferred.
3. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
4. Must be capable of working in various weather conditions, on rooftops, and in attics.
5. Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
6. Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills.
7. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Nice to Have Certifications:

1. NABCEP Certification is a plus.

Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of various types of solar panels and installation procedures.
2. Familiarity with tools like drills, multimeters, saws, etc.
3. Understanding of electrical wiring and devices.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

1. Must strictly adhere to safety procedures and policies.
2. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
3. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
