Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables in various environments
- Perform splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fibers using fusion splicers
- Route and secure cables within conduits, trays, and overhead systems
- Ensure compliance with site standards and industry best practices
- Conduct OTDR testing to ensure signal integrity and performance
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades
- Maintain detailed documentation for client records and compliance
- Ensure installations are clean, organized, and efficient
