Journeyman Electrician Position Overview
We are urgently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at FSG in Richmond, CA for long-term projects. You’ll play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial renewable energy systems. This includes solar panels, inverters, and energy storage solutions. Your expertise will ensure our projects are executed with precision and efficiency.
Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
- Valid California Journeyman Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC and renewable energy codes, particularly solar and battery storage regulations.
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
- Install and route conduit (EMT, rigid) and wiring for high-voltage DC and AC systems.
- Perform testing and commissioning of solar arrays, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Supervise apprentices, ensuring safety and adherence to installation standards.
